The investigation Service of the IGO at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has received your message. Your complaint has been registered under reference number COM-13-0696. We will refer your message to the appropriate colleagues.
Please be advised, however, that the IGO cannot intervene to initiate, support or expedite the processing of resettlement cases. The submission of refugees for resettlement to third countries is conducted by UNHCR under its mandate subject to strict formal standards, in accordance with established criteria and conditions. While the right to seek asylum is a universal human right, there is no right to resettlement. Refugees are accorded the opportunity of resettlement! based on their particular needs and based on the opportunities made available by the receiving resettlement countries. It is very important that any questions about resettlement to third countries are addressed to the office where you are registered.
