If you are inquiring about the progress of an existing Special Humanitarian Program visa application, these take more than 12 months to process. Currently there are applications older than this under consideration.
The processing time of individual applications varies and as such it is not possible to predict. We cannot advise you further on the time it will take to make an assessment. No further information is available with regards to this. You will be notified in writing at each stage of the application process.
Receipt and registration of new applications
You will be notified in writing when your application is registered on our system. The notification can take up to four weeks.
Change in circumstances
If you have provided information regarding a change in circumstances, address change etc, the details on your application will be updated.
New information
If you have provided new information or a representation of support, this will be attached to the application for consideration.
If your query does NOT relate to the topics above, you will be sent a response as soon as possible.
