ألمعروف انه جواز السفر غير مطلوب عند اول سفرة للاجيء ، حيث ان ممثلي المنظمة في اول مطار سيمنحون الشخص التذكرة الالكترونية للسفر. وفي دولة الترانزيت سيستقبل اللاجيء موظف المنظمة في تلك الدولة وهكذا دواليك لحين الوصول للوجهة الاخير من السفر وهذا ما ادلى به العديد من المسافرين طالبي اللجوء ( آي أو أم - أس آي في ) ومع ذلك رغبت أن اكتب فحوى رسالة ممكن ان تساعدكم في طرح مخاوفكم من تعثر سير اجراءات السفر عند تجديد الجواز. نص الرسالة في ما يلي:
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I hereby like to let you know that my current Passport will expire on ( day- month – year ). I am very much concerned if I process renewing it with the Iraqi directorate of Passports and you return the immigration process of my case to the first steps.
I need to let you know that our current Passports in Iraq are of category ( G ) and the current rule at the Iraqi directorate of Passports when a Passport reaches to its expiration date is to cancel the ( G ) category Passport and issue an ( …… ) category instead, and here is the problem.
The issue is that all my current papers with you bears the ( G ) Passports’ data and when I will get new Passport it might not match the same/same data shown on my ( G) Passport whose copy you keep with you in my case file , though it is me and my personal bio data stay the same. I need your assistance in letting me know whether the immigration process of my case would return backward or not and what you advise me to do if I need to get new Passport in lieu of the old one.
