An urgent appeal

Dear Sir:
I kindly, ask you to take a moment from your busy schedule to read my humble appeal about the plight of my people who suffered for centuries from the Islamic occupation and these days such people are unfortunately as we are in the third millennium witnessing again the revival of those gloomy and miserable days by what happened in Assyria/ Nineveh plain of Iraq from few months back and now in the Khabur Valley, Syria where are over 26 disserted Assyrian villages.
In the last days, the ISIS forces attacked most of these villages and took captive many of them and the exact number is not known yet, but it is over 300, and with some casualties, but fortunately many of them fled to near by cities of Hassake and Qamishly.
Our people are in a dire situation and it is very ironic that the entire world is watching as the news are unfolding, and so far no action is taking unfortunately while these people are facing the cold winter as well!
Dear Sir:
I am sure you know that our Assyrian people since the WWI were allied with Great Britain and rendered good services to them. I think it is time to expect from your Excellency and Great Britain as well, any kind of assistant as we are in such tragic situation .
Finally, I pray and hope that my humble appeal will get attention from your office with my advance appreciation and God bless.
Notice: In the U.K., we have a good Assyrian community in order to learn more about the situation of our people.
