Eligibility Letter
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
Please note that you are now eligible for refugee resettlement in the United States. Your case will continue to be processed, and you will be contacted once you are booked for travel.
You will find a scanned copy of your notice of eligibility letter attached to this email. It is very important that your reply to this email (do not send a new, separate email) to confirm that you have received this email and the attached letter.
When you reply please write the following:
“I confirm that I have received this email and the attached decision letter for my refugee case with the United States Refugee Admissions Program.”
Kindly include your full name in your reply.
Please note that since your case is approved you do not have an option about when you can depart or delay your case for any reason. Moreover please note NOT to sell your belongings, quit your job etc, since the International Organization for Migration will be contacting you two weeks prior to your departure date, as we can’t expect how much time it can take till you depart
Once you receive a date for departure, you must make plans to depart the country you are currently residing in for the United States on the assigned date.
