When darkness turned to light
When day rose after night

You bloomed into life on this earth
Seventy – seven years of breathing accomplishing pieces of worth

Early in life you discovered the power of writing
Books, plays and poems- the work was growing

Never did a day pass by with you complaining
Not in sickness nor in aging

You accomplished more than books and poems
You brought peace and warmth to our homes

Not only us, but also so many others looked up to you
For your love of life and wonderful view

You will always be in our minds
A blessing in our hearts, You wonderful humankind

Every step we will take in our future days
We will remember you in different ways
 
We feel more proud than sad
And we honor and cherish the moments we had
