Dear Applicant,
We are glad to inform you that we issued your Immigrant Visa!
We shipped your visa package via DHL, using the prepaid slip you gave us. Please contact the DHL office where you paid for your shipment to find out when and how you can receive your package. You can also track your package online by entering your tracking number on your courier's web site:
· DHL: http://www.dhl.com
As you pack your bags, we remind you of the following:
· Do not open the yellow envelope. Only a U.S. official at the port of entry may open it.
· Do not pack the envelope in your checked suitcase; keep it in your carry-on luggage.
· Bring your X-ray results to the U.S.
· Keep your passport in a safe, easily accessible place at all times.
· Keep copies of your passport, visa and other identification documents in your possession.
U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services has a web site that welcomes new immigrants to our country. It has useful information on settling into the U.S. once you arrive, and is available at http://www.welcometousa.gov/
Congratulations on starting a new chapter of your life, and welcome to the United States!
