Thank you for contacting the IOM Info Center for the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. Please find below details on the Expanded Refugee Resettlement Program for Iraqis with U.S. affiliations who are located in Egypt , Jordan , or Iraq .
If you are in any other country, or if you do not meet the below criteria, you may contact your local UNHCR office in order to obtain information about refugee resettlement, or a U.S. embassy in order to obtain information about visas. Also note that all Iraqi asylum seekers should register with their nearest UNHCR office for protection and possible assistance.
If your profile does correspond to one of the six criteria below, please provide us with the following information:
1. Biographical information for each person you wish to include on your case.
Ø Please be advised that your qualifying family members are the following: parents, spouse, children (any age, married or single), grandchildren (under 21 and single), brothers and sisters (any age, married or single), brothers and sisters’ spouses, and nieces and nephews (under 21 and single.) In order for grandchildren, nieces and nephews to qualify, they must be on the application with their parents.

2. Passport and Jensia for each person on the case.
3. Employment Verification. You must forward an email or PDF letter from your U.S. supervisor or company official verifying your employment. The e-mail or letter must include the following information:

Company name:
Beginning and end dates of employment:
Position title:
Confirmation that employee is currently (or resigned) in good standing
Name, title, email and phone number of company HR officer or supervisor (the email address must be an official one – not yahoo, Gmail, MSN, hotmail, etc.)
1. Current Location and Contact Information.
Also, please specify whether you want your case to be processed in Amman , Baghdad or Cairo .
